My Experience in Spain
Spain was all warm stone, golden hour, and that slow Mediterranean rhythm that makes you want to stay forever. I filmed a whole series at Plaza de España, watching the light turn the terracotta to gold. I learned to eat the Spanish way — tapas, good wine, hours of conversation — and I sat in a tiny candlelit room as a flamenco dancer poured centuries of emotion into every step.
Spain reminded me that you don’t need a packed itinerary — just presence, good light, and someone (or some pup) to share it with. Coco, naturally, became the star of Seville.

Planning your own Spanish adventure
If Spain is on your list, my best advice is to plan less and stay longer. This is a country that reveals itself in the slow hours — the late lunch that drifts into evening, the paseo before dinner, the plaza that fills with families at ten at night. Pair one big city with one smaller one, travel in spring or autumn if you can, and leave room in the itinerary for the unplanned: a courtyard concert, a tiled doorway, a little bar with the best tortilla you have ever tasted.
